Ashley and Nick met for the 1st time in late 2007 when Nick still held the role as CSO for Visalus, a top wellness company that Ashley was a part-time distributor for. Nick then noticed something special in Ashley, ‘professionally speaking’, and that’s when he began to mentor her to become a successful entrepreneur who would then leave behind her corporate pharmaceutical job for a full time career with Visalus.
A year and a half ago they realized they had much more in common than just a business partnership, a friendship, and their mutual love for network marketing. They began dating, fell head over heels in love, and now Ashley and Nick travel the country together building their massive team and changing thousands of lives (check out their on-line documentary reality series at www.thepyramidthing.com). They have homes in Miami Beach, FL and Grand Rapids, MI but love the fast life and there is never a dull moment.
They guarantee their wedding weekend experience will be one that their guests remember for a very long time. Typical Nick and Ashley style, there will be a few surprises in store along the way…
The proposal:
Nick proposed to Ashley in front of 3k people at his company’s national event in Atlanta, GA while his two business partners, best friends, and their family looked on. He allowed Ashley to think they were only accepting a promotion together on stage. Ashley thought Nick was giving her their new rank pin to wear but instead he dropped down to one knee and opened the box with a diamond engagement ring and proposed. She answered with a tearful shout of YES! The video footage they have of the event proves their excitement, their bond, and Ashley’s surprise as she counted herself saying, “Oh My God” at least 20 times!
